Announcing our new program for 2019, Pedal of the Month!
Each month in 2019 we will be releasing a new pedal, which will be available for a special price for that month only! We’ll be taking pre-orders for that month, and the pedals will be built and shipped in the weeks that follow. Once the pre-order is over, the price goes up for the rest of the year! Pedals that sell well will become part of our regular offering, those that don’t will go away.
April’s Pedal of the Month is the Analog Madam!
There’s really no other pedal like the late ‘70s analog flanger made famous by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Andy Summers of the Police. Its liquid modulation, variable sweep range, and wide variety of speeds allowed for everything from a subtle chorus-like effect to deep jet plane flange, and everything in between.
The problem with the originals was they were noisy, huge, typically ran on 18 volts or an attached power cord, and most importantly, a 10% volume drop when engaged.
The Analog Madam features standard 9v operation, low noise, a reasonably small enclosure, and unity gain when engaged! It has the sweet sparkly top end the originals were known for, and the wide range of modulation of the Deluxe models. Since the original bucket brigade chips are no longer made, we adapted the circuit to a modern production chip.
It’s superb for nailing those classic tones you love that are so hard to achieve!
