Dark Arts Drive

The Dark Arts Drive recreates the tones from the days when gun slinger guitarists took their British amps to storied techs who modified them in secret ways for more gain, more punch, and a smoother sound. Like a late generation “Magic” Plexi that may have been modded by a guy named Jose in a little shop on Van Nuys. Compared to our popular Lil’ Shaman, which is meant to emulate a mid-hump drive pushing an ‘80s Marshall, this has bigger bass, less mids, and is a little brighter, with way more gain and output. But it also is less compressed and super dynamic.

Creating dynamic drives is our passion. You may never have played a pedal capable of so much crunch that can also clean up so well from your guitar. At lower gain settings it's Hendrix's glassy "on the edge" tones. It's got Free, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and Cream tones in it, but it also excels higher gain sounds as well. The Dark Arts Drive has the most gain of any of our drive pedals.
