Her Majesty

Being big time fans of Brian May and his amazing tone, we created this pedal to emulate his signature sound, which is a treble booster pushing a cranked Vox AC30. Internally, rather than mate up a Rangemaster gain stage with an amp emulation circuit, we approached it with the tone shaping power of opamps and mosfets. The result is any Queen dirt tone you could desire: super tight bass, raw mids, and a hairy top end that sits somewhere between distortion and fuzz, just exploding with harmonics. It also cleans up to AC30 chime with a twist of your guitar’s volume knob.

What we also discovered though, is that Her Majesty has the gain range and tone control to achieve the cranked AC30 tones of many of its famous users: Rory Gallagher, Richie Blackmore, Dean DeLeo, Peter Buck, Mike Campbell… they’re all in there, too.

Controls are: Gain (with a range from lightly dirty R.E.M to super crunchy STP), Tone, and Volume (it’s also very loud and can push the front end of any amp nicely). A sonic weapon with wide dynamics, sparkling harmonics, and dripping sustain, Her Majesty will rock you!

It’s a totally original design, not based on anything else.
