POW!:

Do you need an ass-kicking clean boost with EQ? Do you need a classic rock overdrive? Do you need a fat fuzz? How about a pedal that does all three?

The POW! is our version of the first overdrive pedal, a huge orange unit used by such greats as Jeff Beck and David Gilmour. It’s a transistor-based circuit, capable of very loud clean boost, gritty drive, and full-on fuzz. It can be run at 18V for more headroom and volume, or 9V for earlier breakup and a greater range on the Gain control. The Bass and Treble controls are powerful and allow the POW! to match up well with single coils or humbuckers. It’s very dynamic and cleans up well from your guitar.

The POW! is a true swiss army knife pedal, and Gilmour used his for boost, drive, and fuzz on early ‘70s Pink Floyd records, and then mated it up with a Big Muff for the soaring lead tones of The Wall and Animals. It also does a great Hendrix tone with the gain maxed out.

We’ve added a master Volume to the original circuit, and feature hand selected transistors for low noise and smooth tones.
