There aren’t many original LM308 opamp chips left in the world, and really the only thing they’re good for in this day and age is to be driven to crazy levels of distortion in a certain vintage favorite.
The Jabberwocky is our exacting tribute to the original “rodent” distortion pedal, complete with NOS LM308 chip. Our only mod is to add a Clip switch that adds 2 more clipping diodes to the original 2 for more volume, less compression, and more awesome!
It’s got a fat crunch, just the right tone profile, and just plain rocks with any guitar you throw at it. Crank it up for instant late ‘70’s early ‘80s goodness.
